New Clothing Classes Offered

Our favorite tailor, Lorraine Gruys, is back with three clothing classes. Beginner Asymmetrical Vest 002, a stylish but simple lined vest which is good for beginners.  Klimt Oversized Dress Shirt uses a Klimt panel or other fabric you may prefer.  Makes a great summer shirt. This class is not for beginners.  Sophisticated Vest 003 can be made with one or more fabrics. Japanese fabrics work well with this.  If you want your shirts and vests to fit, schedule a Fitting Appointment with Lorraine on July 15, so you modify all patterns to fit you. Call the store to schedule, then pay Lorraine directly for this service.

Tote, Bag and Gift Classes

Cindy Barfield offers Sloth Oven Mitt, a great gift in a cute design. She also has In Control Organizer Bag to hold your tools and templates to take to class or keep track of in your sewing room. Regina Boyer, our tote bag expert, offers Rockport Tote, a large tote, that uses large pieces of your favorite fabrics and will repeat Sew Together Bag.

Free Motion Using Templates

Cindy’s Template Free Motion Classes continue to be favorites.  Sign up for a Intro Demo and then  move into regular classes.

Apliquick Tool Class

Lois Podolny offers Apliquick Tool Class.  This uses the metal Apliquick Tools to help you prepare various shapes and sizes of fusible appliqué. Great tips on smoothing the edges of your appliqué.
