Quilt Fiesta Santa Fe Oct 19-20 at the Convention Center

Holy threads! It’s Quilt Fiesta time again! There will be lots of beautiful quilts, many of them to be judged by a well known judge from Arizona and lots of vendors including Santa Fe Quilting.

The Northern New Mexico Quilt Guild is sponsoring its biennial Quilt Fiesta at the Santa Fe Convention Center, 201 W. Marcy Street north of the Plaza.  Hours are 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. both days. A beautiful donation quilt was made by guild members to be given away. Both judged and non judged quilts will be on display.  We also encourage you to stop by our store at 3018 Cielo Court, Santa Fe before or after your visit to the show. We have lots of new fabrics, patterns and notions.

Fabric Producer to Speak at SFQ

Glynis Dohn, producer of Susybee Fabrics, will speak about the designer behind the fabric.  She will discuss how fabric is produced and brought to market.  She is bringing a delightful trunk show of quilts as well. She will discuss new ideas for baby quilts too.  There will be a demonstration and hands on learning for chenille as well.  This free talk and demonstration will be at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Nov 14. Please sign up across from the front counter so we will know how many to expect.
